People in Peril

 

The Real Gift e-shop is operated by the organization People in Peril (Človek v ohrození, n.o.). By purchasing a Real Gift, you make a donation that helps People in Peril improve the lives of people in need both around the world and in Slovakia.

 

People in Peril was founded as a humanitarian organization dedicated to assisting people in crisis-affected areas. Since 1999, we have been supporting those deprived of their dignity and freedom due to various circumstances. We provide aid to victims of wars, natural disasters, and individuals living in poverty.

 

In Slovakia, we support people from marginalized communities and, through educational activities, aim to foster an open, tolerant, and solidarity-driven society.

 

Our work focuses on five key areas: humanitarian interventions, development cooperation, human rights, social integration, and global education. The One World documentary film festival is one of the organization’s flagship projects, holding a special status.
