A real gift helps people in need around the world and in Slovakia
You can choose from four categories of aid.
- Livelihood: These gifts help people around the world earn a living. For example, in Kenya, we support building greenhouses where communities can grow vegetables year-round.
- Help in Need: These gifts assist victims of natural disasters and conflicts, or help secure access to drinking water. In Lebanon, in 2024, we provided food parcels to 250 displaced families, reaching around 1,500 adults and children.
- Education: These gifts facilitate access to education for children in need. We prepared 420 backpacks filled with notebooks, markers, and school supplies for Ukrainian children from vulnerable families.
- Slovakia: In Slovakia, Real Gifts support children and young adults by providing tutoring, scholarships, and employment assistance. Our regional Clubhouses are safe, stimulating environments where children from excluded communities and Ukrainian refugees find support and belonging. We also welcome people from majority communities, because our goal is to build strong, cohesive communities where everyone feels accepted.
