EMPOWERING WOMEN AND GIRLS
Girls and women still face many challenges in today’s world, especially those from disadvantaged communities. They often marry and start families at a very young age, frequently completing only primary school or none at all. This makes it difficult for them to find employment later on. However, women from the majority society also need support. Slovakia is home to thousands of intelligent young women with great potential. Through education and support programs, we can help these women develop and thrive.
With this gift, you will contribute to the SLOVAKIA aid program.
We provide educational and experiential activities for girls and women through the community centers of People in Peril. Our goal is to help them gain self-confidence, broaden their horizons, and feel empowered to fully realize their potential. We support not only young girls in completing their education and finding employment but also older women who, for various reasons, have been unable to continue their studies.
At the same time, we foster a sense of community among women, creating a space where they can support each other, share everyday struggles, relax, and encourage one another. We aim to awaken and nurture their feminine power, which is essential not only for individual growth but also for the strength and development of the entire community.
